The Process: Beats & Pieces is an independent music label. To digitize the hand-drawn logo for them, the first step was to finalize the drawing by ensuring that it was as finished as possible and had high contrast. This was done using thick black markers to fill in spaces and rulers to keep the edges sharp. Next, the logo was digitized using a scanner set at the highest resolution possible.

Once the scanned image was obtained, Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator were used to trace the logo design digitally using the pen tool & brush too.
